The Mumbai-based jeweller Bhagat has witnessed an impressive rise to fame since the firm opened in 1991. From the heart of the business, which he runs with his brothers, he has created a truly beautiful marriage of Eastern and Western influences, which is so aptly reflected in his international clientele. Viren has a passion for precious stones, favouring the Indian tradition of using cabochon, table- and rose-cut stones, he incorporates them in often classically Indian designs, using traditionally Western manufacturing techniques, and always with a signature contemporary twist.
